Theresa Davidson is Professor of Sociology at Samford University. She has a PhD in Sociology from Louisiana State University, a MA in Sociology from Northern Arizona University, and a BA in Sociology from the University of Arizona. She is currently pursuing a graduate certificate in Native American Studies from Montana State University, expected Spring 2022. Her research and teaching areas center on inequalities of race, gender, social class, citizenship status, and the intersections of those statuses. Additional research areas include public opinion, public policy, and media representations. She is a member of the Mid-South Sociological Association.
